I joined Townends in July 2016 after completing my A-Level’s at All Saints Sixth Form. Having always loved my studies of Maths and Business I knew that accountancy was the best career choice for me and wanted to get started right away. Working in the PFM Dental section of the York Office is busy and quick paced, but this has allowed me learn a lot in the short space of time I have been working. The combination of this and studying for the AAT Level 3 qualification has meant that both my knowledge of accountancy and my confidence have grown significantly in the past year. I recently visited Fulford School to encourage other A-Level students to think about a career in accountancy and join Townends.
