Accounts and Audit Manager – Goole

A fantastic opportunity for a qualified chartered / certified accountant (or someone qualified by experience) with drive and enthusiasm to join a team that is dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal and business objectives. Townends is a long established Yorkshire firm that specialises in providing everything that the
owner managed business needs. We have a full range of services aimed at such businesses, including Wealth Management.

Our style is to take a positive lead and it is not in our nature to simply produce accounts and answer questions when asked.
We are not just your ‘typical’ firm of accountants. Our partners are:

  • Strategic thinkers
  • Solution providers
  • True business advisers and developers
  • Fantastic mentors

The role also requires supervision of trainees and reviewing their work.
Whilst the focus is on compliance, there are also many opportunities to significantly expand the range and breadth of experience through direct engagement with clients, attending meetings, adhoc projects and working as part of a team to deliver a proactive service. No two days are the same.
