Along with 57,000 people I travelled up to Newcastle to run 13.1 miles. With help from supportive spectators all-round the route and a spectacular display from the Red Arrows, I completed my first (and possibly last) half marathon.
I didn’t beat Mo Farah (who won the race)…but I did cross the finish line in a respectable time of 3:04 hours.
Thank you to everyone for their support and generous donations. I have raised £360 for the Mental Health Charity – Mind so far. If anyone still wishes to donate then please visit my Just Giving Here.
